A global emergency 4.8 billion years in the making

The Sun Cannot
Save Itself.

The star that gave us light, warmth, weather, food, seasons, and life is consuming a finite supply of hydrogen every second. We have already delayed action for approximately 4.6 billion years.

At the current rate, the Sun has never been closer to extinction.

We are the first generation with the courage to begin.

Future generations will judge us not by whether the crisis was convenient, but by whether we started a planning process early enough.

Our Work

Programs commensurate with the scale of the problem.

CONCEPT VALIDATION

Hydrogen Replenishment Initiative

The Sun spends approximately 600 million tons of hydrogen every second and has never once asked for help. The Initiative is building the framework through which that help could one day be formally offered.

SYMBOLIC ADOPTION ROLLOUT

Sunspot Protection Program

Sunspots appear without warning and dissolve without recognition. The Program assigns each one a name, a record, and the dignity of being noticed before it goes.

CONTINUOUS OBSERVATION

Solar Wellness Monitoring

Every day the Foundation reviews publicly available imagery and confirms whether the Sun appears present. Since monitoring began, the Sun has maintained a 100 percent daily appearance rate.

LEGISLATIVE OUTREACH

Government Affairs

The Emergency Stellar Preservation Act would make solar continuity a matter of federal record. The Foundation coordinates citizen outreach, scorekeeping, and policy briefings so that no legislator can say the Sun was never brought to their attention.

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

Youth Solar Leadership

Children alive today may have descendants directly affected by solar extinction. The Foundation equips them early, because leadership on a five billion year problem cannot wait for adulthood.

PARTNER ONBOARDING

Corporate Solar Responsibility

Every organization on Earth depends on the Sun for daylight, photosynthesis, and quarterly momentum. Solar Neutral certification lets responsible leadership place that dependency on the record.

The Crisis

The timeline is not negotiable. Our response is.

  1. 01

    Today

The Sun is actively consuming finite fuel.

  2. 02

    Next

Its output and composition continue to change.

  3. 03

    Eventually

The Sun enters a red giant phase and life as we know it becomes impossible.
